Cottage Facilities - Ground Floor
The lounge has comfortable seating, open fire, Sky+, DVD player, and stereo system. There is also a large library of books on Skye and Scotland, along with other general reading.
The dining room seats six people comfortably. It has a large dresser, open fire, and great for playing the board games provided
The conservatory looks on to the south facing deck, and has comfortable seating, as well as a small TV and DVD player.
The bathroom includes a lovely corner bath, great for relaxing in after a day's touring or walking. There is a dressing room adjacent to the bathroom
The well equipped kitchen has a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
The utility room is equipped with a washing machine and tumble drier. There is also an iron and ironing board.
Cottage Facilities - First Floor
Both spacious en-suite bedrooms are comfortably appointed with double bed, ample hanging and drawer storage, dressing table, and full length mirror.
The separate first floor shower room acts as a private bathroom for the second floor bedroom.
Cottage Facilities - Second Floor
On the second floor there is a twin bedroom, with dressing table, ample storage, and full length mirror.
Gardens
Witchwood has a large front garden with summer house and gazebo. Enjoy a glass of wine in the summer house while enjoying the lovely views or watching the sun set over the Skye Bridge.
To the rear, the large deck has a picnic table, ideal for having breakfast outdoors while enjoying the views to the hills behind the house. The deck also has a rotary drier if required.
Local Amenities
The village of Kyleakin has two village shops (one with Wi-Fi) and post office, plus a choice of places to eat and drink. The Bright Water Visitor Centre (celebrating the life and work of ‘Ring of Bright Water’ author Gavin Maxwell) looks over the picturesque harbour.
The Skye Bridge looks over Kyleakin Lighthouse, which is open to visitors along with Gavin Maxwell’s cottage on Eilean Ban.
Just across the bridge in Kyle of Lochalsh there is a wide range of facilities, including restaurants, pubs, leisure centre, post office, Co-op supermarket, pharmacy and health centre. Beyond Kyle is the picture- postcard village of Plockton, with its award winning restaurants and outstanding views

All linen and towels are provided. Instant 'firelogs' for the fires may be purchased in local shops, or in Kyle of Lochalsh
Regrettably, dogs or other pets cannot be accommodated at Witchwood
For all our guests' comfort and safety, Witchwood is a 'no-smoking' house, equipped with a fully maintained fire protection system
